  OWO What is this? A review? The food is pretty good when you consider the 900 kids plus teachers that inhabit this place. They have a discount on lunch and breakfast meals for those with a certain low salary. Not that bad. This is obviously not the worst school, and I suggest you to ignore a lot of the reviews on this school. A lot of them are very ignorant or trying to get a reaction from their friends. They are pretty dramatic like you would expect 14 year olds or less to be. Moving on. The teachers are allowed a bit of freedom in their teachings, and they aren't that bad. I had some pretty good teachers these 3 years I have been at this school, 4/6 of them to care enough about the students. They can be annoying at times, but they seem to know what they're doing. They are pretty poor at handling the students, should be more strict. The lessons themselves could be reptitive or just a plain waste of a page. The packets seem like such a huge thing they rely on. "Finished a packet? Yay!!! Here's another one." In my opinion they rush too fast to get from one lesson to the other. They should summarize the packet once it has been finished, writing down on the board or something. The teachers should have much more direct contact and not rely so much on the packets. The prices for the bus is WAY too much. 75$? For just 47 days, and you are also required your ID to enter the bus. Why not just write the names down for the bus driver? Sure ID will be a lot quicker, but just in case they have no ID, get the sheet. Lower the price of 75$ down, for such a short trip that would take regular cars 8 minutes, it is simply too expensive. Electives are fine and seem like a break from the other main classes. The student behavior is pretty ok for the most part. There's a fight or two every week or then. They should be more strict for student behavior, as they could be very violent with words or physically. Rarely have I seen anybody been bullied for. Major injuries are VERY rare, but there had been at least 2 for the past 3 years I been here. There has just been one student taken to the ambulance as of now. Not a big deal. Another reviewer states, "People get offended by everything." Well that very same quote comes from a student who would purposely moan loudly in class, and bring up the word gay in almost every sentence. Someone's not self-aware (; Events are not mandatory and are sometimes fun, so are clubs. A nice way to be with your friends or just feel almost free. One person has been requesting for a LGBT club and more support on LGBT. I don't think that's neccesary, too much drama. Yes you're gay or trans, why make such a big deal about it? Most of the school does not mind about it, and the teachers still treat them fairly. Your sexuality is just one thing, and I don't think many would join. It just feels unneccesary. Staff is medicore or just depressing. Counsel is not much help, they're pretty much just there to see who should be the one to be suspended. Prior to what another person says, the field trips are great! While the zoo is pretty generic and all that, I still had a lot of fun there. We will soon have a field trip to the Pearl Harbor Memorial, looking forward to it. There were literally no reports of guns, nor is there any way for guns to somehow enter the school without the knowledge of staff. Nor have I ever heard about a gun being in this building. So I could only assume another reviewer was making this up. Also another reviewer replies with "cendd ur keeds here..." The humor could be seen as trying to say that the school not teaching them anything. But that girl/guy meant to make a joke. Which shows she or he knows how it is really spelled. Really a lot of the reviews is exaggerated. Really it's an average school, there are better ones out there, this school could definitely improve. I would go on but I exceeded CL Anyway, that's mostly all.
